Welcome to Gearhead Metal Works. By accessing or using our website (gearheadmetalworks.com) and placing an order, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our site.

1. Overview
Gearhead Metal Works ("we," "us," or "our") sells personalized, made-to-order metal signs. By using this site or purchasing from us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or are using the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Products and personalization
Our signs are custom-made based on the personalization details you provide at checkout (such as name, text, size, and color). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit — including spelling, spacing, and punctuation. We produce your sign exactly as entered, so please proofread before ordering. Because each item is made to order, please review our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

3. Colors, sizes, and product appearance
We work hard to display our products accurately, but actual colors and finishes may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, and the nature of powder-coated steel. Product images and mockups are representations; minor variation in finish, texture, or dimension is normal and not considered a defect. Sizes refer to the largest dimension of the sign (height or width, depending on orientation).

4. Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices, products, or promotions at any time without notice. Payment must be received in full before production begins. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method.

5. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, or to limit or cancel quantities, at our discretion. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund. Order changes or cancellations are only possible within the window described in our Refund & Return Policy.

6. Shipping
Shipping timelines, rates, and destinations are described in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We currently ship within the continental United States only. Once an order leaves our facility, delivery is handled by third-party carriers and is subject to their timelines.

7. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including designs, graphics, logos, text, and images — is the property of Gearhead Metal Works or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or use our designs or content without our written permission.

8. Customer-submitted content
You are solely responsible for the text and personalization you submit. By submitting personalization details, you confirm that you have the right to use them and that they do not infringe on any third party's trademark, copyright, or other rights. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order containing text or requests that are unlawful, offensive, hateful, infringing, or that we otherwise deem inappropriate, and to issue a refund in such cases.

9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gearhead Metal Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question. Our signs are decorative products; you are responsible for safe and proper mounting and use.

10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gearhead Metal Works from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our products or website.

11. Third-party links and services
Our site may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party services (such as payment processors and fulfillment partners). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third parties.
